I went for appointment yesterday to meet a friend in KL. I waited at Ampang Park LRT Station, while waiting, I saw an old uncle was selling curry puff and sardine roll at the side of escalators. I wonder how come at this age he still need to go for work ( well you know what I mean ). Anyway that is not the main topic I wanted to share with all of you. Look at the picture below sure everyone knows about it. This is our own local traditional kuih muih.

don't you think it is really yummy and crispy.......the moment I saw this its make my mouth watering

He is selling the the curry puff rolls @ RM0.50 cent per one piece, aside for the sardine rolls RM1 per one piece. I have tested both of the kuih and the taste really delicious with the soft texture plus crispy really really made my day. :-).

Uncle Kuih
This is the uncle......according to him just call him as ' Pakcik Kuih Cheras ' .He is helping the wife to selling all the kuih's since he retired. So friends and reader if you want to taste the curry puff and especially the sardine rolls you can contact him via mobile @ 019-3743320 for order. The uncle said they also accept bulk order like weeding reception, birthday party  and corporate functions. So take you phone and dial it now and speak with the friendly uncle. Trust me he is a nice person and polite, very down to earth man.

~ Gala Premiere of Peter Pan The Musical mesmerizes young and young at heart ~

Bandar Sunway, 26 Nov 2010 - It was a kaleidoscope night of colours, music and lights at the Gala Premiere of Peter Pan The Musical @ Sunway Lagoon. Performed at the newly refurbished Amphitheatre, the musical production is a first collabaration between local and international talents who are no strangers to the stages of West End and Disney.

Peter Pan The Musical @ Sunway Lagoon is a West End Production which tells the age old story of a boy who just would not grow up. Amidst the levitation and flying antics from Peter Pand and his friend Wendy, the evil Captain Hook adn the ever-loving Mr Smee, the crowd of nearly 2,000 people were mesmerized by the unique lights displays, pyrotechn ics, snow ( yes, snow !) and vibrant performance from this world-class production.

"With this being our first ever theatrical production, we are working hard to set the benchmarks for future theatrical events held here. This production of Peter Pan the Musical has many unique elements that have yet to be experienced by people in this country. This unique location aims to provide our audience with the full-bodied experience of modern day, musical theatre. It is not just about sights and sounds; it is also about stirring up the myriad of emotions this unique ambience invokes", said Aaron Soo, CEO of Sunway Lagoon.

Directed by Chris Colby, who have been involved in musical productions such as Aladdin, Cinderella, Beauty & the Beast, Oliver! and Annie, he leads a 16-member cast line-up who hails from Europe, South America, the Philipines, Indonesia and of course, Malaysia. "Sunway Lagoon has really gone above and beyond with this unique set prodcution. The performers, choreographer and I have agreed that it is truly, a one of a kind display of creative talent in set production. As many people in show business know, the stage set, sound, lightings and special effects really can help bring the audience to the realm where the play is set, " said Colby. Choreographer of Peter Pan The Musical @ Sunway Lagoon, David Kort says that the set has really helped the performers to get into character while doing the show. Kort has led international productions of musicals such as the Jack and the Beanstalk, Annie and Treasure Island amongst many, many others.

Internationally recognized for excellence, Sunway Lagoon is the only Attraction in Asia to be recognized by the Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) as 'Asia's Best Attraction' for four consecutive years from 2007-2010. Most recently, the Games & Parks Industry magazine in Europe awarded Sunway Lagoon with the 'European Golden Pony Awards' for their contributions to the growth of the Asian Amusement Parks and Attractions industry. The Gala Premiere of Peter Pan The Musical @ Sunway Lagoon also saw the re-opening of the Nite Park, which was closed to accommodate preparations for the year-end, yuletide theme. Guests were seen re-living the sights and sounds of 'Neverland' at the Nite Park after the Show.

In the true spirit of giving, Sunway Lagoon has also urged local charity homes and associations to approach them, as they will be allocating up to 400 seats for every show. For more information, please contact Vanessa Tan / Nikki Goh at +603-7710 3288 to find out how your home or association can take part in this one of a kind experience. View at Kg Bambangan jetty
Kg Bambangan located 28 km from Sandakan town. The journey by car takes about 30 minutes while the boat is about 1 hour from Sandakan town. Every evening people come for fishing and relaxing with their family while enjoying the fresh air and clean. The blue sea and the clouds are very beautiful and reconcile the soul of each person who comes. Kg Bambangan is suitable if it is used as a home stay.

Kg Bahagia just before Kg Bambangan

Coal Project
Formerly this place was the sea, then was filled to make coal-fired projects that do not have permission from the government. Finally, the project is simply abandoned.

Kg Bambangan sea view
Kg Bambangan has potential as a tourist attraction. But much needs to be improved for example the very poor transport facilities is the most significant problems. Certain parties should take the initiative to develop this village.

real kampung kettle that uses firewood~ kind of antique
There are many other villages of home stay concept in the city of Sandakan I have not cover yet. Maybe next time I will be featuring stories about life in the village. I would like to thank to my old friend Maykasuma for sharing this lovely information about her Kampung Life. May God always blessing you and your family.
For those who want to share your holiday experience please send your pictures and information to me at: ms.littlewing @ The sender will be lucky to get a mystery gift from me. So what are you waiting for?

On the way to Kg Bambangan we have to pass by this two places near to Kg Bahgia. To get to this place must take a boat because there was no road linking to this village. Transport system here is still in a very disappointing. Certain parties have to take a drastic step to improve the system of roads and basic infrastructure to enable residents to commute from the town of Sandakan. There are still many deficiencies in this village. The most significant transport problems. The third picture originally is the ocean that was filled to the coal project that is not approved by the government. Finally, the project is simply abandoned. However there are still people who come to visit to see the surroundings.
Notes : thank you to my friend Maykasuma for sharing this information.

From merry brunches to candlelit dinners, live bands, gastronomic dinners with celebratory champagne, PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur has lined up an irresistible range of festivities throughout this joyous season.  Alongside the festive dining options, Hot Gossip will also offer a selection of Christmas goodies and a slice of tradition, the ‘Evergreen Gossip’ roast turkey to take home.

In the spirit of goodwill, PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur will pledge to raise funds to ease the plight of the children at Stepping Stones Life Centre. Stepping Stones Living Centre was started in November 1998 by Pastor Johnson to take care of children from needy and broken homes. A deserted house was cleaned and repaired in Taman Seputeh which presently houses the home. Children and single mothers are taken into the Home regardless of background or belief. The Home currently has 103 children, 8 mothers and 7 elderly people. It totally depends on contributions from well-wishers and friends.

Due to its current cramped conditions, Stepping Stones requires funds to provide a larger space for the children to have a better living environment. Guests can help in PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur’s efforts to raise funds for this meaningful cause by contributing to its fundraising initiative. This fundraising initiative is part of PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur’s way of giving back to the community.

Hairy Crab 3

Hua Ting Hairy Crab 2

Hairy Crab season is here again! Specially prepared in various styles by Chef Leong Weng Heng. This delicacy, air flown all the way from Yangcheng Lake, China, assures an unforgettable taste.
Chef Heng recommends steaming the crabs as the best method to taste both the roe and the meat of the crab. “Steaming preserves the flavour and the moisture in the crab. The roe is the main highlight in the hairy crabs. It creates a rich, creamy and exquisite flavour that is unforgettable” says Chef Heng. Other than that, Chef Heng is also taking advantage of the richness of the roe and pairing it with vegetables creating special dishes such as  Poached Seasonal Vegetables Topped with Hairy Crab Meat and Roe and Braised Stuffed Scallop with Prawn Paste with Hairy Crab Meat and Roe.
Hairy Crab promotion is happening from 23 October to 23 November 2010 and priced at RM188 per crab.
